Dr.Aafrin Shabbir is from Kolkata,West Bengal who finished her education and higher studies in Chennai.During her education in Chennai, she has developed a passion and love for the land and decided to practice medicine in Chennai and also in her home town Kolkata.
Her aim is to provide health care for the weaker sections of the society in India. She has been specializing in the field of Women and Child heath care. This has led her to work with children and women in Apollo cradle, where she manages diabetes and general medicine needs.
Dr.Aafrin has presented multiple papers international and nationally to her credit. She is also specializing on Post graduate in Endocrinology from The Royal College of Physicians, London.
Dr.Aafrin Shabbir, fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali is a skilled orator. She has been empowering women in various corporate companies on health and well being of young girls. Mastering her skills in prevention of obesity, she has been an example herself for weight loss programs and motivating young women in weight loss programs helping them prevent health related complications.
Last but not the least she is a founding member of WINRIN foundation, a self funded organization serving the poor and needy suffering from chronic illnesses. She has aided the foundation help a few hundred people with her own personal contributions to the organization. She is a firm believer of the fact that charity starts from home and there is never a reason not to help the needy in this world. She does not miss any opportunity to be with the people who needs her the most and is ever ready to share her kindness and love with them.
